For seemingly weeks on end now the Gold Coast of Australia has been getting blasted by cyclone surf. Mick Fanning must have logged over 24 hours worth of tube time already (as evidence by this aeiral shot of Joli's). Jordy made it a point to buzz back for the tailend of the swell immediately following his win in Tasmania. Julian Wilson hopped down from his home on the Sunny Coast. And then there's Jamie O'Brien, who after flying over from Hawaii locked into some absolutely ridiculous pits at Kirra. We have one sequence of Jamie that's bound to make you green with envy. All said, it's hard to remember a recent run of swell in Queensland this powerful and this consistent. Kirra showed signs of it's old self, while secret little beachies everywhere came to life.
