Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro Starts Tomorrow!
The WQS season is off and running, we've seen Jordy Smith crush it Tazzy, Mr. Julian Wilson just slammed a big result down in Durban, and now, coming to the famed cobblestone point at Trestles, incarnated in the form of a Six-Star prime event, the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro starts tomorrow.
The forecast is showing a series of south swells hitting back to back all week long, so there should be plenty of waves for the boys to tee off on. And speaking of "the boys," the list of those in attendance is off the chart. We've got San Clemente's newest resident Adriano de Souza, Red Bull Rising graduates Michel Bourez and Tim Boal, as well as ASP heavies Dane Reynolds, Freddy Patacchia, Chris Ward, Taylor Knox, and them Hobgood boys. And on the wildcard side, Evan Geiselman, Nat Young, Kai Barger, Rob Machado, Darrell Goodrum, and Malibu's Anthony Petruso made the cut. Plus, one final wildcard will be awarded to the winner of a local junior trials heat of San Clemente-based juniors including Kolohe Andino, Luke Davis, Riley Metcalf and Ian Crane.
