Gypset Style, a beautiful book by world-renowned travel and fashion editor Julia Chaplin, illustrates the Gypsy and Jetset travels and the cultural foraging at home with the global references and chic speed of the jet-set mixed with the alternative, anti-commercialism and the nomadic wile of a gypsy.

Sofia Mulanovich and her family are featured in Chaplin's tomb of international artists, designers, and bon vivants: the twenty-first century's Bright Young Things. Gypset Style explores their unconventional lives of wanderlust and the bohemian enclaves they inhabit, as well as their counterculture forebears.

The author originally visited the Mulanovich family in 2007 to write a feature on Peru for the New York Times Travel Section and was captivated by their bohemian abode and way of life in Punta Hermosa, Peru, about 30 minutes South of Lima. Unlike most Peruvians who live in Lima and visit the southern beaches of Punta Hermosa only in the summer months, the Mulanovich clan made the beach town their year round residence. Chaplin follows the Mulanovich family as they chase waves from their local break La Isla to the North of Peru and the perfect waves of Mancora and Lobitos.

Sofia, currently venturing in the Mentawais through June 22, will be traveling "home" to Peru before heading to Southern California to promote the film "Dear and Yonder" this July. The Women's World Championship Tour resumes in October with stops in Australia, Peru, and Hawaii.
