The Cabo Chronicles: Andy Irons' Border Sprint (Part 3 of 3)

With a brief break from the tour, Andy Irons had finally been able to post up at home in Kauai for a few days and catch up on that silly little thing called life. Then a swell appeared on the charts. After spending two weeks golfing, and not really worrying too much about surfing, at the slightest inckling of the impending south swell Andy clicked back into surfer mode, grabbed a board, pair of boardshorts, and flight to Mexico. The elder (and most decorated) statesman among the traveling trio, Andy joined Red Bull's Ian Walsh and Kolohe Andino and hit the road. With Brian Bielmann in tow, for three days the boys scored warm, fun, relaxing waves, ate good food, and enjoyed all that Baja provides. That said, Andy's not back at it on tour, Ian's lost somewhere in the world looking for big waves, and Kolohe's working on juggling school and leading the charge for the next generation.
